NT4 domain with W2K fileserver.
A user in the domain USER1 is reporting that certain excel documents are locked, or have last saved by meta tags stamped with the USER2 id. USER2 is also a member of the domain, but has NO NTFS access rights to directory/files in question.
If I log onto a PC as USER2, I can't access these files. I have compared USER2's SID with the SID of all users with access to these files, and none match.
We do these files keep getting locked by a user who has no access to them? Or have Office metatag's of 'Last saved by" that user?
