I have installed Linux on one of my partitions and after rebooting I have noticed that another partition which is NTFS has desapeared. I tried to rever it through Disk administrator on NT and Fdisk on linux but noway. I found a software that deals with partition called ''Easy recovery'', It can access to the disk and get my files providing the type of the partition.

Could you help me?

As you say, you installed Linux "on one of my partitions"; was it an NT partition or you created a partition using the Linux utility? As far as I know of Linux, it formats the partition before installation, so if it was any existing NTFS partition, it must have been formated by Linux.

Was there any unformated space on the disk before you installed Linux on it?

How did you create new partition for Linux on a live NT drive?
