Hello,

I'm building up personal lab Meridian1 system to integrate with my existing CUCM environment and had a question that I was unable to find a clear answer for in the documentation (at least the docs I've reviewed thus far).

Initially the plan was to get an NTDK91 (Option 11c Mini cab) for my NTDK20; however, in looking at the secondhand market I'm seeing the NTDU14 (which is ironically newer?) as far more available, and generally, cheaper. I'm aware that there are some differences between the two cabs in a general sense (the NTDK91 has that special slot 4 that accepts the 48 port DLC, and the NTDU has the 4 regular slots and ethernet bulkheads).

And thus the question is -- Is there a minimum SW version the NTDK20 needs to be at for it to function in an NTDU14? (I've seen pics of an NTDU14 in other posts here so I'm guessing its possible, but it was not clear as to the min ver for compatibility. Edit: here's that post )
The NTDK20 I have is likely one of the older Meridian (non Succession/CS1000 ) software versions, but I don't know what version specifically yet as I dont have a cab :)

Either way, any and all guidance is appreciated.

Thank you,
bc

22.08
First version GA 11C software as I know )

mid '90s

But I recommend 5.5

Awesome thank you so much for the quick response jose.marti!

So, theoretically, my early 2000's (at least that looks to be the warranty start date M0109, unless im interpreting the code wrong) NTDK20 will likely do just fine :)

I'm planning to move up thru versions eventually, but yeah very excited to cut my teeth on the M1. Have wanted one since I was a teen...

thanks again,
bc
