NTDS: backup engine stopped.

I get the following error everyday on our Windows 2000 Domain Controllers.
"NTDS (308) The database engine has stopped the backup with error -521. "

I'm new to the company and my preceder might have ignored this error for quite a while.

Not sure what exactly it means so would be thankful if someone helps me out with some details before something untoward occurs.

I believe the error is caused by third party antivirus software that quarentines some of your log files, thinking they are a virus threat. This makes the log files out of sequence .....
