Does anyone know what the J12,J7 and J8 jumpers on this card are used for?

J7 Jumper plug
The J7 jumper plug must be in place on the NDK20EA SSC card for the
Ethernet function to operate. The jumper plug is present when the NDK20EA
SSC card is shipped. However, it must be removed to accommodate the
NTDK26 Backwards Compatible Daughterboard used in multi-cabinet
systems that are not interconnected with fiber optic cable.
When a multi-cabinet system is upgraded from copper to fiber optic cable
inter-cabinet connections, the NTDK26 Backwards Compatible
Daughterboard must be replaced with fiber expansion daughterboards. The J7
jumper plug must be installed at the same time if the Ethernet capability is
required.

Thanks for the post pronei!. I was told that in order to reset the PDT password back to default there was a procedure that involved the jumper settings on this card. I am assuming that since J7 is used as you describe then J8 must be the jumper involved with defaulting the PDT password. Can anyone produce that procedure for me if it is true?

Oh PDT resets.. Thats incorrect, Do not mess with the jumpers on the SSC. The procedure is very simple, but obviously can't post it here.

What was the software release the system was on when you suspect the PDT password was changed? There are procedures in the latest NTPs on what commands to use to reset it in s/w.

I hesitate to elaborate.
