Hello.

I dont know if you remember but im working on a computer that will be public in a library. That means that i will have a lot of noty children trying to corrupt it. Ok, i have got my hand on poledit from winnt 4.0 server and i have created myself a ntconfig.pol file. Ín the old days when i was playing around with nt4 server it had the directory c:\winnt\system32\repl\import\scripts or more known as \\localhost\netlogon. But the workstation version dont have it? How can i activate the feature that i have enabeled with poledit on a win2k ws?

thanx in advance

I think the root of C:\ will work. If it doesn't there should be a section in poledit about system policy remote update under computer\network. If you check that it will allow you to specify where the file is actually located. Choose manual method and then path out to your file "c:\NTConfig.pol"

Hello, thanx for the tip.

I dont know if im trying the wrong things but i cant find any computer/network things in poledit. Are you talking about the program that comes with nt4 server?

yep.
You need to apply the templates first. They should be located in the same dir as poledit on the CD. They have ADM extentions. You'll want to add the COMMON.ADM template.
Putting in c:\ didn't work???
