Ntbackup

Usually NTbackup keeps a record of tapes that goes far back, we remove 1 tape out of normal weekly backup every month end.
I just checked and NTbackup has these monthend tapes as an option when going through the restore wizard.
However if your tape isn't showing up you need to catalog the tape. Now I'm not sure if its Catalog Backup file or under Media Tools. But it should be one of these that you need to run for it to catalog the tape and once that is done you should be able to restore from the tape using the restore wizard.
