I am running NTBACKUP on a Win2k server. I am using an SDLT backup drive. The backup will run, but when I try to do a test restore, NTBACKUP will not see any content in the drives. I can see the "C" drive, the "E" drive and "The System State". When I try to expand either of the drives it goes thru the motions, but then it says no objects, or somethign to that effect.
Please don't tell me to use Arcserve, or any other third party app. I don't trust them, and tech support stinks. It took Arcserve over a year to come up with a solution to a problenm I was having. by then I had moved on.
Anyhelp? Please?
This is a server I inherited, and I am almost certain that the backups NEVER ran for the previous administrator.
