NTBackup - no System State

I am trying to use the NTBackup utility to backup the system state on our Win2k3 AD DCs.

One, I have no problem with. But on the other, when I get to the "items to back up" window and expand "My Computer" no "system State" option appears.

Does anyone know whats going on or how I can fix it?

I am getting 2089 errors and would like to get the thing backed up in any case.

Are you running the NTBackup job on the local computer?

Yes, it was launched from the local machine.
