NTBackup - High CPU Usage

Hi,

We have a small business server (2003) which shows NTBackup as the top process by cpu usage. The figure on the performance report is 79.7%.

Other servers that we look after are nowehere near this figure. Can anybody give me any tips on where to start?

Are some of the directories on that server compressed or encrypted? That would explain it.

Hi Dave,

The folders aren't compressed or encrypted. It has ocurred to me that this server is using different anti virus software to the rest. I've changed the settings on that, and I'll see what happens.
