Hello,

does anyone know how to restore the system state on a Windows 2000 Professional which doesn't boot anymore (when there is a blue screen), even if it doesn't start in Safe Mode !!

thx,

Gerrit

I believe the blue screen indicates a problem with windows system files (a missing or corrupt file) and not program files. Therefore, reload windows 2000 from your CD and it may correct the problem. Your settings will be saved and with a little luck the problem will be fixed, or at least you will be able to boot to safe mode.
