I am very glad to know the such a nice forum..

Situation ..
- We are using 1 2003sbs server(A) and 1 2003 standalone server(B)
- those are both Raid system(we didn't use tape backup device at all)

Whenever I Try to backup whole A server data to Server B using network. It didn't go thru. Everytime I got below error after scheduling job at night.

"Cannot locate the specified media or backup device. This backup operation will terminate." (70% already processed)

is it something wrong.. ? It's sort of pain..
Should i make user log out all before backing up?
Should i off all application about DataBase(SQL,CRM stuffs).

Any suggestion would be very appreciated.. Thansks

Hi,

Are you using NTBACKUP to back up to a mapped network drive?

Is there any chance your network could be having connection troubles between server A & B?

Peter.

Remember- It's nice to be important,
but it's important to be nice :)

thanks for reply
