I am trying to find the pinout for the RS232 end of the NTAK19FB cable. Any help is appreciated.

Not sure but maybe if you try looking for the NE-A25B cable you'll have better luck. It's pretty much the same as the NTAK19FB just without the connectors. That is the cable you use if going to the MDF. So you should find a doc somewhere on how the pins go.

Found the following in "Option 11C and 11C Mini Technical Reference Guide" page 236. If you go there and look at the tables it should help you out. Good luck

Connecting to the ports
The methods by which external devices may be connected to the SDI/DCH card are:

• Use the NTAK19FB four port SDI cable. This cable does not have to be terminated at the cross connect terminal since it is equipped with connectors.

• Use the NE-A25-B cable and terminate it at the cross connect terminal. Tables 79 through 82 give the pinouts for the SDI/DCH card.

You can indeed use the 4 port SDI cable. Also, if you still have any 2 port TTY cables from the very old Option 11 systems. I'm currently using one on my test CoRes system without any problems.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

What I found out is that it's pretty much a straight RS232 pinout. My prblem was on the NTAK02 SDI/DCH card. MY 1-1 and 1-2 needed to be off. Thanks for all your input.
