Hi to all,

I want to know if someone can help me with the follow issue. I just configured a NTAK09BA card for our Meridian 11C. overlays L20, LD22, LD17, LD16, have been setting up propperly as the guide indicates.

But the RED led into faceplace is ON.

LD 96 output shows as follow:

DCH 004 : DSBL RST AUTO

When I try to enable DCH, it promps the follow message error:
MSDL0006 Cannot enable the card unless it is in Manually Disabled (MAN DSBL) state.
I really do not know how to fix this issue.

Which D-Channel card did you use and how is it programmed?

go to ld 48 and

enl tmdi (x) <-- whatever the card slot is for the TMDI card

This will load the TMDI card, then try to enable the loop.

or you need to go to ld 48 and

.stat msdl

find the MAN DSBL msdl and then..


.enl msdl (msdl number)

This will enable the msdl for the dch.

you could even..


.enl msdl x fdl and do a force download on the msdl.

Note that I receive the same menssage error. I have another PRI ISDN card (NTBK50AA) that is working fine.

is possible that this card is damage?

Please, let me know other mantenimence overlay in order to discard that option.

Did you try what janeenaj said? Also which Daughter board are you using, is it the NTBK51?

I have had this problem before, and still have this problem. I have changed cards, forced downloads to tmdi, init switch but to no avail. The only way to get it up is to remove card, software disable dch and loop, insert card and enable loop.
This problem appears on two different opt 11's. I have looked for patches, call nortel, talked to different techs and they have not seen the problem. This has happened about 3 times in the last two years, so it isn't a real show stopper, but if it goes down, it requires a trip.

Do you have a d-channel daughterboard on the card?
This is required for the NTAK09.
