I have a yellow CL (current limit) LED on one of my rectifiers. The current readout shows 55.7 amps, which is higher than the normal reading should be, according to the manual.

The question is, can I just adjust it using the potentiometer, or is there a procedure to run through? I cannot seem to locate definitive answers.

Thanks.

Ric

you can increase the voltage, which will drop the current.. that can be as high as 52 volts.. you need to either add a module or re-engineer that one.

anything you do now is a bandaid. that ps will go into thermal runaway in the future

When is the last time you checked all of the batteries? When the meters start floating around, it's a sign of the problem. John is right too. That thing will fry itself.

A visual check will probably find ONE bad cell. (it's the probably the FAT one oozing fluids and acid... Does the room smell like rotten eggs?)

Be careful with batteries! Play safe. Take precautions.
