im using these card with and e&m port on a voip gateway. but i cant get any dial tone from the gateway. i tried strait pin out e on e, sg on sg, m on m, etc. and the "back to back cross-connection" pinout that you can find in the mics installation manual. this is my first e&m setup using a voip gateway, the gateway is a "Multitech multivoip 410"

e lead of box 1 must go to m lead of box 2

signal send of box 1 goes to signal receive of box 2

and of course vice-versa

Multitech includes their pinout of the E&M ports on the gateway.
You must also configure the Multitech ports in software.
