I recently purchased a bulk of network and phone equipment at auction from a failed business in the area, included in this was a Nortel NT5B01 phone system. Doing a google search revealed this is a 6x16 KSU system, however I also noticed the same part number also claimed it to be a 6x8 and 4x8 system, can anyone tell me how find out exactly what the system is configured for?

The card in the system is labeled:

REL 04
NT5B10DE-93
040087906

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

You have a 616 version DR5 with DS. No such thing as 6x8 or 4x8

Thats right 6x16 you should see a single unit with
6 line ports on the left side an amphenol connection
on the right side with the software feature cartridge
at the top

Telemarv - Thanks for the info, I had a feeling it was 6 by something since there were the 6 line ports on the left side, but wasn't sure if software or system version dictated how many of them worked.

Phtek - Do you know where I can find a description of the pinouts for the 66 block?

Thanks all!
