NT4 will not accept more connections after multiple print jobs

After upgrading to IE6 the NT4 server w/sp6 will give the error "No more connections can be made to this remote computer at this time because there are already as many connections as the computer can accept". The server is licensed for 10 users and we only have 8. It acts like each print job uses up one user and then does not disconnect when the print job is done. Reboot of the server corrects the problem until additional print jobs are sent.
