Had a new install of NT4S with latest SP and it always hangs on shutdown. anybody know of anyway to troubleshoot this?

1. Check your event viewer for errors.
2. Manually stop any non-service programs that are running.
3. Manually stop services prior to shutting down. Marc Creviere

Had the same problem myself. One way around it was to run shutdown or log off by ctrl-alt-del shutdown instead of start shutdown.Have read a few related articles on this problem and one reason for this problem is that the virtual dos machine could be running when you attempt shutdown, you can stop this in task manager, however the first solution is probably easier for support methods.
