Ok, I just rebuilt the Workgroup Postoffice from scratch. The setup went fine, my admin account works fine..and some others are working fine on sending messages. But many are not. Some symptoms are:

- Mismatched names (send to bob -- comes back undeliverable to jan)

- Flat out undeliverable (states name is not existent or corrupt)

Please help, i am at a stand still and people are getting testy. :) thnx

Problems like these can come up if there are conflicts in the share and file permissions. If you installed the PostOffice on an NTFS partition, check the permissions first. By default everyone is given full control over the shared wgpo0000 folder, both share and NTFS perms. When you give everyone full control tick the "Replace permissions on subdirectories" check box and see the effects.

On the other hand, if you are using NTFS on workstations, check .pst and .pab file permissions for the appropriate user in mail client application.

Hope this helps
