nt4 really slow

My server is running really slowly, everything is taking ages to load and open.

CPU usage is at 95%, the event viewer system log has got entries from ftdisk in it that say:

1) The fault tolerant driver detected the system was shutdown dirty.

2)Mirror initialization or synchronization started.

The second one is in there about 5 or 6 times. What is this and how do i stop it?

I think i'm gonna get sacked today.

First guess is that one of the disks in the mirrored pair is on its way out. Are there any odd noises coming from the disk drives? CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk

its ok now, i keep my job!

Checked in disk administrator - the drives were being made 'healthy' again after a rather messy o/s crash.
