My new 2000 install is running perfectly. Well, ok it is running anyway.
I am on my LAN (NT4 servers), I can log in as the user that will get the machine. Every time I add a printer, add an icon to the desktop or generally make a change, next time I log on as that user the creating profile happens and everything is reset to normal.
Is this a profile or a saved settings issue? I created the user and gave the admin rights to the local machine but lots of stuff is still greyed out.
Have also got C and D partitions on one drive (Basic) and another empty disk is dynamic. Want to mirror the bootable partition to the other drive without loss of data. As a Basic drive it does not want to give me the mirror option. Have no room left on the drive so it won't let me upgrade to dynamic.
Give me NT 4 any day at the moment...
