NT4 and Window 2000 pro Prob.

My servers are running NT 4. I can't allow the Windows 2000 clients to access the global users and groups that are on that server. The domain is called MAIN. But... when the network prefs. is set to use a domain... it can't find MAIN. Can anyone shed light on this situation.

I had this problem and resolved it by Installing Win's service on NT4 server.

Modify WINS address on Win2k workstation to have Wins server address.

Reboot and Add PC to domain.
