My boss has asked me to implement policys on out LAN/WAN which consists of a NT4 PDC BDC Win2k member servers and clients and also 95/98 clients, i know i can use poledit for 95/98 but i am wondering how can i lock down the Win2k clients, without doing a local policy on each machine, and without Active directory, any ideas people, i need this info for Monday!!!

Thanks

You can create an NTConfig.pol file for 2K machines. See the Article on how to distribute it:

There is a link in the second paragraph under the section "For Managing Windows 2000–based Computers That Are Not Connected to a Windows 2000 Server Network".

You will then need to dwonload the NT article and apply it to your 2K machines.

Hope this points you in the right direction. Hewissa
