My boss has asked me to implement policys on out LAN/WAN which consists of a NT4 PDC BDC Win2k member servers and clients and also 95/98 clients, i know i can use poledit for 95/98 but i am wondering how can i lock down the Win2k clients, without doing a local policy on each machine, and without Active directory, any ideas people, i need this info for Monday!!!

What kind of locking down are you looking for? ~ The day I think I know it all, i'm changing careers ~

Your NT server has an NT version of Poledit, you will dfind it as System POlicy Editor. You can do the same you did to 9x machines, but for NT based OS.
YOu need to name the .pol file for windows 9x config.pol, and for Nt based ntconfig.pol, under netlogon folder in the NT server.
Windows 2000 gives you a lot more options for policies for your domain, if you have a windows 2000 DC, instead of NT. A+, MCP, CCNA
