I have installed IAS from the NT 4 option pack in order to use our PDC as a Radius server using the NT domain user Database for authentication. The Radius Server is used to authenticate users logging into a Cisco 2500 Router.
The problem is that the authentication works fine when someone that has an NT username tries to log in, but when a username is typed in that isn't in the username list on the NT server, the RADIUS server send backs an access-accept to the cisco saying they can log in, which shouldn't happen...Authentication should be denied.
Has anybody ever had the same authentication problem with IAS on NT 4.0?? Any suggestions?
