I have the networker client installed on 3 servers which can be seen by the networker administrator but I keep getting connection refused. Do I need to modify the Hosts file on every server in order for Legato to see and connect to those servers?

You either need to make Host entries containing alias and FQDN, Make sure DNS has it all set up, or enter all names in the alias field of the client set up.

Hi There

When you install the clients you answer on "allowed servers"
If you only put in the short name and the backupserver call's its self by the long name the client will refuse the RPC-call with a connection refused.
You should edit the ?\nsr\res\servers on the client and set in short and long name in this file and restart the service.

Se if that helps.
