I have several workstations that run autochk everytime the machine is restarted. How can I stop this from occuring ? I looked on the MS technet and it recommended running the latest service pack. I tried this but it did not resolve the problem.

Hi

The autochk will run during the system startup, only if the system is improperly shutdown. So we need to properly shut down the systems.
