If NT workstations have been cloned, and as far as I can check, they _DO_ have different SIDs, can you foresee any other problems I may have with the said workstations?

I use NetBEUI, DLC and TCP/IP on the workstations and the NIC cuts out briefly every few minutes.

Any help you can provide would be appreciated!

Thanks

If your hardware is identical and you're using DHCP you should be fine.
Jeff
masterracker@hotmail.com

Of all the things I've lost in life, I miss my mind the most ...

when cloning them, did you use ghost ?
ghost 6 comes with an excellent feature where you can change SID as well as Computername (which also must be unique). Ghostwalker is the name of the program and it´s included in the Ghost 6 package.

You might not get problems even if you have identical SID:s. I used ghost5 (which don´t change SID:s) to clone workstations and they worked fine. I don´t know what kind of problems multiple SID:s can cause. Does anyone know?

Nostradamus
soren.danielsson@liv.se
