When I start Windows NT Workstation 4.0 it stays stuck on a screen saying "Verifying DMI Pool Data".
Can anyone tell me what this means and do? Also, how can I repair this problem?

Thanks,

DMI means desktop management interface. It's a set of controls loaded while booting the PC.
Showning this message and hanging doesn't mean that the problem hides with the DMI.
Probably there is a problem while loading / executing ntldr. I consider the same problem with windows 2000 and XP but i didn't found a solution yet.
