NT Services need to be reset during large influx of calls

Hi all,
BCM 400. 4.0 software. (2) PRI's. We have a box office customer. There are a couple times during the year they will sell tickets for a big show. When they log in at the start of the sale, their NT services will stop working because of the huge influx of calls. Resetting the vmail will work, but this is not a solution, just a bandaid.
Any answers would be much appreciated. I don't work on BCM's very often.

The voicemail will stop working (inactive feature, can't log in), can't access Element Manager (can't ping) etc. The customer had to do a hard reboot (they couldn't find the pin hole in the front)for the voicemail to come back on line.
 
Could this be the BFT-motherboard. Check to see if the caps if they are blue(OK) if they are green then the Base Function Tray is bad.
