We are running NT 4.0 with SP6
on a second PC...105 mhz, 256k RAM
9 gig scsi hard drive.

Every day, at some point, the system
crashes with a blue screen and:
"kmode_exception_not_handled"

If we boot to DOS and erase pagefile.sys,
the system usually re-boots.

Anyone have any ideas about this?

There was a thead here called Blue Screen of Death Part II that described how to interpret the BSOD (back in Jan.). From the posting by MasterRacker the KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED means there is an incorrectly configured device driver. Somewhere on the BSOD it should tell you what driver is causing the problem. You may need to reconfigure or update that driver. If you cannot figure out which driver is causing the problem, plost the first couple of lines from the BSOD and maybe we can track it down.

James P.
