I was switching computers around (Reformatting the hard drives), NT workstations and Windows 2000 Pro boxes
Now the new W2K box will not get log onto the domain
I suspect that the SID is different it has the same network name as a old NT workstation
I deleted the machines name from Server Manager in the PDC.
Message says: even though it shows, its not there and will go away in 15 minutes when it refreshes.
I know the is a command Prompt to force a refresh but forgot what it is????

Any help

Doug,

You should be able to go into server manager, choose the PDC and then choose to Synchronize entire domain. This should cause it to refresh. The dos command is NET ACCOUNTS /SYNC . I hope this helps.
