Arcserveit 6.61, NT 4.0 6A. I am remotely restoreing a crashed server using the above. I reinstalled the OS into tempnt, restored the original winnt to the server, I set the boot.ini to point to the winnt. The machine boots into the original winnt fine. The problem is I can't log into the machine now. It tells me that its computer account in the primary domain is missing or the password is incorrect. I have tried removing the machine from the domain and adding it back through server mgr. Any help would be appreciated.

Add it to the domain and then make sure you use a domain administrator to access the machine. If you have tries this (which you probably have) then try to log on locally and set up a local administrator, and then log on as MACHINENAME\administrator and then password. If this doesn't work, then see if other machines are having problems creating shares of the new machine.

good luck
