Hi All

Wonder if you can help me with the following problem.
We have just installed some extra storage to our old NT server by the way of an external rack mounted Compaq Proliant Storage system. It contains 12 9.1 Gb HDD's and is configured with 11 in a RAID5 format with a hot spare. It is connected to the server via a Smart 3200 Controller card.
When I set up the volume with the Compaq Array Configuration utility is says that the capacity should be approximately 85Gb's. When I go to the NT Disk Administrator
program it says that the volume is only 34Gb?

Has anyone got any ideas what the problem could be?.

The server is Compaq Proliant ML370 running NT4 Server Sp6

Thanks in advance

The only thing I can think of is the 32GB limit imposed by old BIOSes. Try updating your BIOS to the latest version. If your manufacturer hasn't released one to fix this (and this is the issue) the only thing I can see is to replace the motherboard (and the rest that goes with it).
