After posting last week I got some great help (like pressing the F6 key) for getting NT to recognized a scsi drive during NT installation. Now however I have another problem. There are two hard drives in this server, one boot, one extra. The scsi bios recognizes the both drives and assigns them letters. However NT does not see this second drive or the letter assigned to it by the bios and instead assigns the cd drive the letter d:. How do I force NT to see the second drive and assign it a letter? (It is recognized in the scsi devices portion of NT.)

Have you run the disk manager utility? It should be with the NT tools. You should at least see if NT knows the disk is there, and can format/partition etc, and set drive letters.
