NT MQ 5.1 & MQSI V2.02 for NT & PUB SUB

I have MQSI V2.02 setup for pubsub. Using a flow to do the subscribe and a flow to do the publish..

All works well, I can subscribe and publish to my hearts content !

BUT

Using the API explorer that comes with NT/ or the queue browser program part of the NT GUI for MQ, when I read a published message of the queue the data portion has RFH and then nothing in it. Using the NT MQ GUI is says its in Hex and the whole published message is there but I cant see it in Text..

Have i forgotten to set a format or CCSID somewhere??

Can any one point me in the right direction..?
