NT Licensing with MTS

We currently have several NT servers, but the users only login to Novell. NT is only used for applications and services, such as SQL Server, IIS, DHCP, etc.. If we were to use MTS with VB and SQL Server, would the users of the VB client applications be required to have accounts on the NT server?<br>
