We have just switched the client service on our NT stations from Intranetware to NT but we are still using the Netware login script. Within the script many drives are mapped. In certain applications, when you use the pull down menu to save to or open from a drive it used to look like this.. P:servername\volume\directory
Now it looks like this..
Servername\volume\directory(P:)

This is Ok except for those applications that do not allow you to scroll to the right and all we see is Servername\volume and have no idea which drive letter it is mapped to.

Is there a way to rename the mapped drives without remapping them in the login script or anywhere else?

We are migrating all of our Novell servers to NT.

There is no reason to use Netware anymore. All of our apps are on NT. Rather than update from our existing 4.11 version, we decided to go with NT. Any answer to my original question?

Try setting this in their script

MAP [option] drive: =drive: |path <Enter>
