Theres this computer that works as an internet server, and print server for a small company. It has NT4 server installed with service pack 5, and NT Workstation with service pack 4 i think.

THe Workstation setup works fine. But the Server setup has decided to reboot everytime it reaches the blue screen with he system specs display. It doesn't come up with any error or naything it just reboots. The server had been working fine up until yesterday when it started.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

NT server and NT workstation? On the same machine?

Nothing changed on the server? (hardware/software)

NT is difficult to troubleshoot in this situation. You could check its filestore its not corrupt/hard drive isn't failing (slave the drive in another machine and run chkdsk and drive manudacturer's diagnostic utility).

as wolluf says, check hard disk and memory, something has changed to cause the fault, try a rebuild of NT server on a new hard disk...

hope this helps

J.
