NT 4 Problem with SP 4 & 6a after installation

Hi all,

I have a question, I'm facing difficulty with my installation onto a new system. After installing SP 6a the system could boot up to the NT logon screen. It stays idle at the blue screen where you can see the dot's loading. Does that mean that my hardware's conflict between NT 4 SP 4 and 6a.

I had a similar problem to this once, and it turned out to be a fault with the graphics card. What graphics card are you using?

If you get this problem then you have a hardware error/driver problem. Most likely a hardware error

Can you do a repair?

I installed W2K Pro over it and it works fine, there must be some hardware conflict between NT 4 and my hardware's config. Thanks all.
