Found this today - I didnt log it on neither did any of my department. Have an ISDN to the Internet. Is this a hacker? There is such a user account in user manager - disabled it now - a bit worried!!!

Any one help?

Cheers

HI.

You should be worried, because your network design is wrong.
Your PDC must not have direct connection to the Internet. It should be behind a firewall protecting it.

Ask for a security expert to help you redesign the network.

Meanwhile, disconnect the ISDN link.

An ISDN connection is not a direct connection as first of all it is dial up and secondly the connection is made through our corporate ISP. A firewall will be brought in once we have an ADSL (Broadband) connection as then the IP Address of the router will be static, currently it is assigned by DHCP by our ISP so my PDC should be ok but I do agree that it would be better to have a member server as Proxy server so thanks for that.
