After installing a 2nd NIC, my entire NT configuration was lost. After rebooting, I received " No Operating System Found" or something to that nature. After trying to reinstall NT 4.0, I get the memory dump stop screen, stating something about IRQL and CPU Intel and the version. On the Setup, (reformatted drive) would Standard PC be the correct choice for Intel CPU? It is wanting to choose some other type that I'm not sure about.

Check to see if the NIC is on the HCL (Hardware Compatability List)

Make sure the new NIC is not causing a hardware interrupt conflict with another device. If it is an ISA card, you might need to go into the system BIOS and reserve the interrupt the card runs on.
