We are having problems with one of our NT servers V4.0 SP6a on it. We have recently installed McAfee on or network and shortly after one of the server started to complain that the virtual memory allocated was incorrect, we took off McAfee and the problem seemed to go away, however when we tried to reinstall McAfee it would not install. Unforunately now we cant get anything to install on the server... We have tried to reinstall ms installer but with no effect on the problem.
Just when we thought that it couldn't get any worse NT 4.0 has now decided to kill it's sced task installed by IE 5 we have tried reinstalling but this had no effect. Is there any way of correcting the problem without reinstalling NT as we need the server running 24-7
