We're running an NT 4.0 Domain. We're not interested in migrating to AD yet because it would be a city-wide (Government location) endeavor, but we need to spin-up a new DHCP server SOON!! The new system is running Server 2003 Standard. My question... can we install the DHCP server on the 2003 box without migrating our entire domain to 2000/20003? What possible problems would we encounter, if any. Thanks.

Yes you should be able to do it. The DHCP server should know that it's not in an AD network, and should function fine.

I would bring it up in a test network first though, just to be safe.
