NT 4.0 and/or Btrieve problems with DOS app

Okay, I am new to this forum and I could use some help.

I have a WinNT 4.0 server and Win3.1 or DOS workstations running a custom written software that utilizes Btrieve.

The problem that I have is a random STATUS CODE 2. This is generally only happening during long report generation or record deletion that require lengthy processing time.

I can copy all the programs and data to a local machine and it will run flawlessly.

Any ideas as what I could change to fix this problem?

BTW, This is on a Token-Ring network also.

Have you tried running the application in its own memory space? Right click on the application icon on the desktop and go into Properties and choose 'Run In Seperate Memory Space'. Hopefully that's of some help.
