We just upgraded a customer with 2 Mxe 3300 Call Directors and the 3 NSUs did not upgrade their software on reboot. Any Ideas?
The operating software went from 7.1.x.x to 10.0.3.30 within the MCDs.
 
How did you determine that the NSU's did not upgrade?

There is a process to Upgrade manually but I feel it is more likely the issue is with the Database.

NSU's do not upgrade the DB by themselves.

You must upgrade the DB on the NSU manually using the current version of IMAT.

Depends how the NSU's are used. NSU's with PRI need to have their databases updated with IMAT. Otherwise ( MSDN etc ) they should upgrade themselves. However on a jump from 7 to MCD they might not be able to do it themselves because of too great a leap in firmware. I believe the THB might have a process to upgrade the NSU firmware manually or there is a KB article on doing so.

The single biggest problem with communications is the illusion that it has taken place.
