I have a Hitchi 9200 connected to a QLogic Sanbox fiber switch. The servers have qlogic 2340 hba's in them. I am having problems where the cluster is crashes and when I bring the server back up, the cluster won't load because the pool renames to the poolname_1_1_1_1 (i.e. gwpool1_1_1_1_1).

Novell/Hitachi said to turn the Int83 on the SAN controller and that seems to fix the problem, until now. I am back to the problem again now when I have to reboot the server.

Startup.ncf for loading hba drivers:

SET MULTI-PATH SUPPORT = ON
LOAD QL2300.HAM SLOT=3 /LUNS /ALLPATHS /PORTNAMES /QUALIFIED

Has anyone else seen this problem?

Thanks
