nsrsqlsv reports "Can't configure VDI set" ???

Have anyone seen this error message and know what it means?

&quot;nsrsqlsv: Internal system error, please see nsr\applogs\xbsa.messages on the client system for reason. (BSA code 3): Can't configure VDI set <BSMSQL0000E7> (unexpected error code)&quot;

xbsa.messages gives no information.

I had the same error and I changed the SQLserver service to run as System instead of a user and it worked fine.

Hi,
For this problem Legato suggests to register the sqlvdi.dll using regsvr32.exe; personally I had no benefit in doing this, but resolved this issue setting the client parallelism to 1 for the sql server client in NWadmin.
