Hi all,
I am running Networker 7.4 sp2 on Linux attached to a VTL and PTL. Normally our mode of operation is to clone twice a month a copy of a "full" for each client to the PTL. But in September we had some problems with the equipment and certain clients' savesets did not make it to tape. So now the saveset status is mark to recyclable, we have 30 day retention on the VTL. I started cloning the ssid's that were available to the PTL and then with the cloneid change the status to browsable(nsrmm -e, and then nsrmm -o). Then I performed an nsrck -L7 on the client, but when I query the database in Network on the client both copies of the ssid have been changed to "browsable". So here is the question, why are both copies changing to browsable, and is there a better way to do this? Thanks in advance. John.
